Experience

Moku was founded as a product startup in 2012, during the emergence of the Italian startup ecosystem. It all began with a need we identified during our studies in Computer Engineering and the ambition to revolutionize collaborative document management through an innovative web app that enables effective visual note-taking on digital documents.

The idea took shape as a prototype and business plan, which, in 2013, gained the trust of H-FARM Spa, securing funding and an incubation program. In the following months, the web app peaked at 60,000 users and established key collaborations, including one with the University of Padua.

Despite promising traction, the project struggled to establish itself in a highly competitive international market, and we were unable to secure the necessary capital to fully realize our ambitious vision.

Confident in the strength of the solid, skilled, and united team we had built, we decided to continue doing what we love—developing new digital products and leveraging the expertise gained from our challenging journey, from idea to market.

Since then, our team has tripled in size, integrating all the necessary skills while maintaining the same spirit that started it all.
